Overview of Collected Data
This page shows an overview of the data collected from the different IBIS teams and institutions.
Note that data is still being collected, which means these figures might not accurately reflect reality.
Experiments by IBIS teams
The high-throughput discovery team is currently working on restructuring their high-throughput pipeline with more automated assays testing phosphorous solubilization, nitrogen fixation, and more.
The characterization team is looking at the phenotype of strains that are deemed interesting by the discovery team. They are also in the process of exploring plant-based testing in the lab.
The fermentation team is exploring the growth conditions of strains promoted by the characterization team. They are also looking into how to extend the shelf-life of fermented solutions.
The biomanufacturing team at Council for Scientific Innovation and Research (CSIR) does fermentation and formulation of select strains with the goal of scaling up solutions to make them commercially viable.
Greenhouse and select field trials are being conducted by University of Copenhagen (UCPH) in Denmark. Greenhouse trials are conducted in phenolabs with automated measurements of plant growth, volume, and health using plant and drone imaging.
Field trials are conducted by Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) in Southern India. We do not yet have any data from field trials.
